Update from April

Greetings!

Recently, I went to Dallas to set up our ministry booth at a Deaf Expo. It was the best expo I have ever attended! More than a thousand Deaf people attended, and many visited our booth and were curious about our work. Most were amazed to see how God has provided a way for Deaf people to read the Bible using Symbols—even without knowing how to read or use sign language.

I was also invited to visit Revelation Media in Dallas to record a podcast with their president and share my testimony. Their organization’s goal is to create a visual Bible for the Deaf, which is very exciting work.

We were recently informed by our landlord that we need to find a new place to live. For now, we are moving back in with our parents until we find a new home. This is a challenging time for us and for our parents, so please pray for us.

Soon, I will be traveling to the Philippines for a Deaf international conference. Churches from Myanmar, China, and Africa will attend. My colleague and I will introduce the Symbols program to leaders from Myanmar and China so they can start workshops in the future. Please pray that these meetings go well.

After the Philippines, I will travel to Orlando for three days of security training. This will be one of my longest trips, so please pray for my family as they stay with our parents while I am away.
