Greetings!
The refresher training in Uganda went very well—praise the Lord! The team learned how to read the Bible using symbols and how to teach others effectively. We had wonderful fellowship, shared feedback to improve the work, and spent time in spiritual growth and leadership training.
Their next step is to teach Bible-in-symbols lessons in their churches so their teaching skills can improve before they go out to the villages. Please pray for them as they practice teaching in their churches and use every opportunity to share the Symbols Bible with those who do not yet have access to the Bible in sign language.
I have also been assisting S.U.N. (Symbol Universe Notation) in making their resources easier for Deaf readers to understand. In February, we will test these updated S.U.N. resources with the Deaf church in Atlanta that I have been attending. We will spend three days gathering their feedback. Please pray that the preparation and testing go well.
