Update from Nov/Dec

Greetings!

I want to thank God for a successful trip to the Deaf church in Maryland on November 17! During this visit, I had the opportunity to share my testimony, promote D.O.T. (Deaf Ownership Translation), and present one verse from the Cameroon translation, even with limited time. The church was very interested, as this concept was entirely new to them.

On November 24, I shared my ministry and testimony at a Deaf church in Stone Mountain, GA, during their Bible study. I also had the privilege to preach a sermon and show additional videos from the Cameroon translation during the worship service. Many Deaf attendees were amazed and excited to see the videos, discussing how meaningful it was to see God’s Word in sign language. Since the sign language used in the videos is very similar to ASL, they were able to understand it well. Praise God!

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to move in these two Deaf churches, inspiring them to support D.O.T. and consider starting an ASL Bible project through this program.

On December 1, a Deaf Bible study group in Athens, GA, invited me to share more about D.O.T. and present three different verses from the Cameroon translation. The group asked many thoughtful questions and expressed amazement at seeing the Bible in sign language on video. We are planning to return on December 22 to share our testimony and show additional verses in sign language videos!

On December 8, a Deaf leader from Athens introduced me to a historic Deaf church in Atlanta—the first Deaf church established in Georgia in 1976. This church owns its building and has a rich history, but they currently do not have a Deaf pastor. Instead, they invite various Deaf evangelists to preach. I shared a little about D.O.T., gave a short testimony, and offered to preach there once a month. I also explained how I would use Cameroon translation videos, promote D.O.T., and share my full testimony. The church was filled with joy and said they would contact me soon. Praise God!

For D.O.T., we’ve increased the frequency of our online meetings to discuss improvements. We are also planning an in-person staff meeting in March. Please pray for wisdom and guidance in these efforts.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Merry Christmas, and praise God for all He has done for us—and for providing us with you, our faithful supporters and prayer warriors.
