Update

Greetings,

On July 28th, Faith Mae Ropp was born! Praise God! We are beyond blessed—she is beautiful and a precious gift from God. Fernanda and Faith are both in great health!

In the first week of September, I will travel to Zambia to train deaf individuals how to read God’s Word in symbols for a week. This will be with a different team, not the deaf Bible translation team. Please pray that the trip goes well.

I also received an update from the Philippines team. They have been training deaf people in villages who have no access to education or sign language. This means they only know home signs. They have successfully been learning basic symbols. Pray for them as they continue to teach, move on to Scripture, and receive the financial support needed for travel.

Many countries in Africa continue to translate the Bible into sign language—especially Russia—so please pray for their protection, wisdom, and guidance.
